12 days of Christmas -Day 2

I’m not going to lie, I started to feel like Oprah as I put this give-away together. It’s basically a list of some of my favorite things. A mix-mash that IS my life.

TODAY’S give away is a MOMMY give-away.

I cannot say enough about how much I love everything Scentsy, and Heather (who is my Scentsy “dealer”) was so sweet to offer up a wonderfully festive prize for this give-away. She no longer has a page on facebook, but feel free to say hi and friend her on that page I have linked above.

My addiction started this fall, with a jack o lantern plug in for fall with the pumpkin marshmallow scent in it. THEN I fell in love with the Honey Pear Cider. My kitchen smelled so good, that both Greg and Maggie both came home asking what I was baking.

Last month I bought more. A lot more. The Blueberry is AMAZING. I upgraded to a mid-size warmer that matched my kitchen and the Blueberry’s been in the warmer ever since. It’s just about time to change it to a more Holiday themed scent, and I have the perfect one waiting.

Heather has graciously donated THIS beautiful plug in to our give-away. How PERFECT is this?

I keep hearing about Scentsy, but have never tried it. The warmer is a great idea (since candles are out with a tornado of a two-year-old in the house!).

This is a little different than a b&b plug in. The b&b plug-in has the scent that twists in the bottom (mine never work for very long either) where this is the warmer itself, with a wax disk in the top of the warmer. There’s a little dish on the top and the heat from the light bulb is what melts the wax. You buy the scents in little bars, which are kind of separated on the bottom into a grid so you can just break off a little at a time. They seem to last quite a long time, and are really easy to switch out. You just turn it on, let it warm a little, and wipe it out. I take a damp cloth to mine then, and then let it dry before putting a new scent in. I’ll put up another scentsy post and link it to this one to explain how it works a little better. I saw a knock off version in wal-mart the other day and checked it out. The smell isn’t as strong and it doesn’t look like the same quality of wax.

I am so excited about what we have coming up over the next few days. I am blessed to have a loving family, great supportive friends, and wonderful clients. I’m also pretty lucky to get to interact with other fabulous small businesses(and their owners) When I sent emails out asking if others wanted to be involved with this give away I got a fantastic response. Just you all wait until you see what I have in store for you. We have so many great products…BUT I’m NOT going to list them, you’re going to have to come back and see for yourselves.

Today’s give away is something little different. In the spirit of Christmas and giving, we’re doing a 2 part give-away.
