This weekend we did our annual trek out into the country to get our Christmas tree. This is really Fionn’s first year of “helping” pick our tree out. He had so much fun playing in the snow that fell this weekend. Really it made it a PERFECT day to go out and find our tree.
From our first Christmas here in Pittsburgh we’ve always headed out to Buchanan’s Tree Farm and we’ve been nothing but happy with our trips out there. They are located in Beaver County and everything about our experience there is fun. From the hay ride out to the trees, to searching through all the choices, dragging it out, then them helping us load up our tree is memorable every year. Not only do we get our tree there every year, but we all pick out an ornament in their warm little shop while we sip our hot cocoa and snack on our cookies before heading home.
In case you can’t tell, we love Buchanan’s! If you live here in Pittsburgh, we highly recommend them for your live Christmas Tree.
